Elizabeth Thompson is a dedicated community leader committed to preserving Upper Makefield as a cherished place to live and raise a family. With a professional background in public accounting, she brings a solutions-oriented and fiscally responsible approach to local governance—focusing her efforts on serving the community she proudly calls home.

Elizabeth serves on Upper Makefield Township’s Environmental Advisory Council and Financial Advisory Committee. Her current leadership experience as a homeowners’ association treasurer and PTO treasurer has equipped her with the skills to manage complex budgets, foster collaboration, and prioritize community needs. Through these roles, she has worked closely with neighbors, parents, and local leaders—building a deep understanding of the community’s concerns while strengthening her ability to tackle challenges through collaborative problem-solving.

Elizabeth is passionate about preserving the unique qualities that make Upper Makefield an exceptional place to live. As Township Supervisor, she will prioritize supporting UMT’s emergency services and enhancing the community’s health and safety. She is committed to limiting development by advocating for smart, sustainable growth—championing policies that protect open space, safeguard the environment, and mitigate stormwater and other negative impacts. Elizabeth will also work to expand recreational opportunities, gathering spaces, and community programs that promote the well-being of all residents.

With a vision to protect Upper Makefield’s character while preparing for the future, Elizabeth is eager to serve on the Board of Supervisors. She will continue to advocate against any threat to the township’s safety, environment, and identity—ensuring Upper Makefield remains idyllic for generations to come.

Elizabeth resides in Upper Makefield with her husband, Nick, their vibrant second-grade daughter, and two lovable pups. Outside of her volunteer work, she enjoys gardening, baking, and traversing the great outdoors with her family.
